PHR Adjustable Rear Traction Bars are a great solution for those looking for that edge over the competition. These bars are recommended for drag racing, circuit racing and even street cars.
In drag racing, the trac rods can help eliminate wheel hop and change the spindle angle so you can dial in your ideal start and down trac geometry. In addition, increasing or decreasing preloads improves reaction times and increases forward pressure out of the hole, helping to control front-end stroke and back-end squat.
In circuit racing, the Trac Bars help prevent wheel bounce on corner entry and can improve bite on corner exit. They can improve the vehicle's response to driver input, eliminating the squishy factory bushing and allowing full adjustability to help customize your suspension geometry.
Road cars can get all of the above benefits but have more road feedback in the chassis as the factory bushing is eliminated and vibration is transmitted more easily, although most people may not notice a difference.
PHR-Trac adjustable bars are made from stamped steel tubing and are knurled for the adjustment handle. The rod end is constructed of 2-piece chomoly for durability and our clevis end is TIG welded and folded for strength.
