The high-performance intercooler has the net dimensions of 510mm x 345mm x 180mm (in stages 23.56L) and thus offers a 165% larger inflow area and 223% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance net is a high-quality tube fin net with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the overall weight of the intercooler is only 13.8kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized with the help of flow analyzes in the CFD system. The intercooler kit EVO3 was developed directly for the high demands of the large tuning levels on the BMW M135i and M235i. The original click connections have been eliminated and the connection diameters at the entrance have been increased to Ø65mm and at the exit to Ø76mm. Therefore, the kit includes two reinforced silicone hoses and an aluminum charge air pipe with a diameter of 76mm. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Completely ready-to-install kit, including a modified crossbar, simply replace with standard parts - due to the extreme size, minor adjustments to the cooler support are necessary. Tested up to 6 bar and stable under pressure. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring. Suitable for racing.
