ATTENTION: All models built before 2018 still have an air mass meter installed. All models built after 2018 have a temperature sensor. Therefore, there are two different products for both engine variants.

The BMW G20/G21 B48/B58 Eventuri intake system was developed to give the turbo a less restrictive flow path while maintaining low intake temperatures. When designing an intake system for turbocharged engines, heat and volume are key. On the G20, the intake system is located next to the exhaust manifold, which quickly fills the engine compartment with heat. High temperatures are detrimental to engine performance as the turbo would need to be charged with heated, less dense air, so the only way to keep IATs to a minimum is with a fully sealed intake. However, this leads to a limitation with only one supply air supply from which air is drawn. During development we noticed an additional opening in the wheel arch area and took advantage of this by adding a second feeder to our airbox.



In addition, our sealed airbox also features a gold reflection heat shield to minimize radiant heat transfer from the exhaust manifold. To maximize volume, we cut out the airbox as large as possible for potential strut braces. The stock corrugated intake pipe has been replaced with a smooth carbon pipe that also has a larger internal volume with an initial internal diameter of 111mm (4.4″) and gently tapers downward to match the turbo inlet. The pipe provides a smooth path from the filter to the turbo inlet. Finally, we use a custom-made high-flow dry filter that is ISO tested for its filtration performance and has a larger filter area than the standard filter.



The G20/G21 B48/B58 Eventuri Intake System is a series of components designed for a specific purpose and manufactured to the highest standards. We use 100% prepreg carbon fiber with no glass fiber, which means we can achieve a smooth inner surface for smoother airflow.
