GSC Power Division is pleased to introduce the latest addition to our line of cams, the GSC7045 Forged Billet S3 for the VR38 GT-R. This isn't just another cam though; a lot of research and development went into every aspect of these bump sticks. The billet cores for these cams are an in-house development and are manufactured in-house at GSC. We've developed stronger, lighter cams with added fatigue and wear resistance. CNC machining and grinding gives us the most accurate and repeatable camshafts possible, with precision cannon holes in the center of the cam for oil delivery and weight reduction. This far exceeds OEM durability with the performance that GSC Power Division is known for around the world. The 7045S3 requires the GSC 5054 Beehive valve springs and lightweight titanium retainers. This combination keeps the valve train happy up to 9,800 rpm with 60 PSI boost pressure. GSC designed the valve springs and valve discs specifically for the high-performance VR38DETT, using different intake and exhaust valve discs to ensure the correct spring seat pressure.
