The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (530mm x 205mm x 95mm= 10,300cm³) and thus offers a 20% larger inflow area and 86% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. A new type of competition high-performance network (tube fin) is used here, which was developed directly for the requirements of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal air flow. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have not been changed. The back pressure of the intercooler is identical to the serially installed intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
