The secondary PHR tensioner is designed to work in conjunction with an OE tensioner to maintain proper tension on the timing belt. While a single tensioner works well in many applications, PHR recognized the need to have an additional idler bearing in high performance applications to avoid timing belt deflection.
NOTE: Additional modifications are required for use on the OE pump cover.
