The Powerhouse Racing OIl Squirter Block-Off Kit for 2JZ-GTE erases the factory Oil Squirters for the 2JZ.
The factory oil squirts spray oil on the underside of the pistons to cool the pistons. This is a good thing, except at the expense of oil pressure. As we increase engine speed and horsepower, oil pressure becomes one of the most important points to maintain. Increased cylinder pressure and bearing speeds require oil pressure to prevent bearing destruction.
By removing the factory oil splatter, we increase the oil pressure, which can greatly improve bearing life. On short-haul vehicles or engines with stick pistons, the cooling effects from oil splatter are minimal while bearing life becomes critical. Save on your bearings and expensive block by installing the PHR Oil Squirter Block-Off Kit.
