Carbon fiber aerodynamic components
After 3 years of meticulous research and development, Racing Sport Concepts is proud to present its new line of carbon fiber aerodynamic components for the next generation of high performance automotive enthusiasts.
What you see here isn't just a set of side skirts, it's a revolution in the aftermarket automotive industry. Over the past three years we have tested every technology, CAD software, autoclaves, material suppliers, painters, paint suppliers, aerodynamics experts, racers, IMSA and Indycar crew chiefs, OEM engineers, everything to create the best possible product. These side skirts and their sister products are the culmination of this work.
High precision CFD simulations
We started by scanning the 991.2 GT3 and developing our CFD model to match real-world experience with the 911 platform. Because our baseline accuracy was significantly higher than if we had to build a model from scratch and validate it ourselves, while also saving hundreds of thousands in development costs, we began refining our design in the virtual wind tunnel.
Using dozens of simulations and design iterations, we reworked our designs to increase aerodynamic efficiency. It's true that almost all of our competitors prefer manual over digital CAD because it's faster and easier than software, but that would limit our ability to make changes based on the CFD results. It would also limit our quality control capabilities as we would no longer be able to scan and inspect parts at the factory to maintain quality control on an ongoing basis.
