A catch tank is essential on a high-performance vehicle to protect the engine from increased crankcase blow-by that accumulates during aggressive driving. Excess oil-saturated air flowing back into the intake stream can result in poor performance.
Radium Engineering catch tanks feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-stage oil separators, and an o-ring sealed dipstick.
Radium Engineering's closed loop system is NOT vented to atmosphere (VTA) and is therefore exhaust and rail ready. Instead, clean, filtered air is recirculated through the engine to be combusted and promote crankcase vacuum for optimal performance.
In addition, the closed system prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering the interior. This kit mounts on the right side of the engine and is therefore not compatible with RHD BMW models.
