This kit is for Subaru EJ racing engines that cannot be used on public roads. ECU tuning is required.

The double injection (2 per port) makes this kit particularly suitable for high-performance engines with alternative fuels. However, they can also be used in a standard single injection configuration.

FUEL DISTRIBUTOR HOUSING :
Designed in-house, these are die-cast to achieve shapes and features not possible with other manufacturing methods. The inner bores are completely smooth with no machining marks.

The outer mounting lugs on the fuel rail housings are designed to allow additional clearance for larger turbo inlet pipes.

The eccentric thread blocks (shown) make this kit compatible with a wide range of Subaru EJ intake manifolds.

FUEL RAILS :

The fuel lines are CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, anodized black and laser engraved for a high quality finish. They are compatible with all fuel types including alcohol blends such as E85 and is a necessary modification for those using methanol on powerful engines. The end ports feature large, flowable 10AN ORB end ports. The top auxiliary ports are threaded 8AN ORB to connect additional accessories.

Press-fit spacers are included to thermally isolate heat transfer into the fuel lines. As shown, all OEM top feed fuel rails are also compatible, including the Radium fuel rails. NOTE : Fuel rails that change from side feed to top feed injectors are NOT compatible.

If additional injectors (8 total) are needed, the pre-installed 2AN ORB plugs can be easily unscrewed from the upper injector ports and used.

INJECTOR INSTALLATION :

Each fuel rail has 4 injector fittings machined to accept injectors with 14mm o-rings.

Primary lower fuel injectors
Both OEM Subaru and 60mm Bosch EV14 injectors can be used with the adapters provided. To reuse the OEM Subaru injectors, the included hat must be installed over the top OEM injector o-ring as shown below.

Use of aftermarket 60mm EV14 injectors (see below) requires the supplied injector seat to be fitted over the lower injector O-ring.

Secondary upper fuel injectors
Only 34mm EV14 Bosch injectors can be used. Fortunately, many Subaru owners are currently already using Injector Dynamics XXXX.48.11.WRX injectors. With the top and bottom billet caps removed the base fuel injector is a 34mm Bosch EV14 which can be used. Below are the compatible secondary upper injectors.

20-0689-01 Dual Port Injection, SUBARU EJ, UNCOATED
These fuel rail housings are machined from bare aluminum with a satin finish. If the user would like to add a surface treatment of their own (paint, powder coating, etc.), know that die-cast aluminum alloy is not compatible with anodizing.

20-0689-00 Dual Port Injection, SUBARU EJ, COATED
These fuel rail housings feature a black Cerakote coating originally developed in Oregon, USA for the firearms industry. Cerakote is a state-of-the-art polymer-ceramic composite coating. It is only 0.001" thick and outperforms powder coating in abrasion, wear, chemical and corrosion resistance, as well as in impact strength and hardness.
