This comprehensive kit includes everything needed to install a radium fuel tank on a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X with a single 39mm fuel pump. The physical Radium Engineering FST can be purchased HERE. The kit is NOT designed for RHD EVOX models that use the large OEM washer reservoir (check your reservoir before ordering).

All Radium FSTs are CNC machined from aluminum. They are fully anodized and use PTFE insulated cables, dip hoses etc to make them alcohol (Ethanol/Methanol/E85) compliant. The Mitsubishi Evolution X installation kit places the FST in a collision safe area, centered behind the rear seat but in front of the plastic trim in the trunk (see below).

This keeps the trunk 100% usable as the panel is reattached after installation. The powder-coated aluminum bracket attaches to OEM mounting studs, eliminating the need for drilling or cutting. In addition, the OEM battery and washer fluid bottle are retained and do not need to be relocated.

Also included are wiring components with flying leads terminated with Raychem solderless butt splices, as well as a weatherproof fuse and relay to drive the FST's fuel pump. Wiring is very easy and takes less than 30 minutes. Soldering is not required.

The scope of delivery includes 4 PTFE hoses that are cut to length and pre-assembled. PTFE hose is perfect for all types of fuel, especially those with a high alcohol content, such as ethanol (E85). Unlike standard rubber hoses, PTFE is impermeable and eliminates any fuel vapor odor in the vehicle. Radium PTFE tubing uses anodized aluminum tubing ends and is cut to length specifically for this application. The inner stainless steel braid withstands extreme fuel pressures and is covered in black PVC which gives the hose extra protection from contamination and abrasion. Supplied in size -6AN only.

The included -6AN hoses are compatible with the OEM fuel lines.

NOTES :
Due to the restrictive return port on the OEM fuel pump body, a slightly higher static fuel pressure is normal when using a high flow pump. To correct this problem, the OEM fuel pump body return port can be modified (enlarged) to eliminate the restriction and encourage fuel flow back into the OEM fuel tank. This is noted in the operating instructions.
