This kit is for the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST and Ford Focus RS. It is designed to replace the plastic coolant tank located at the front right of the engine compartment. It retains the same function as the OEM coolant reservoir while adding 160ml of liquid volume.
Radium Engineering's coolant expansion tank is CNC machined from aluminum and consists of two halves that are bolted together.
The inner life consists of two chambers that are NOT isolated from each other. There are crossover passages at the top and bottom. The Radium Engineering coolant reservoir also has an internal swirl designed to help purge the system.
The kits contain all parts required for installation. No permanent modifications to the vehicle are required.

Radium Engineering's optional pressure cap (sold separately) is machined from black electroplated stainless steel and features a race-proven high-pressure valve. The 21.8psi relief provides a boiling point increase that allows for improved cooling efficiency. This is necessary when the vehicle is driven in extreme conditions.
