Competition Intercooler Kit Ford Focus RS MK3
The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (630mm x 215mm x 125mm = 16,931cm³) and thus offers a 10% larger inflow area and 72% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance network is very light, so the complete intercooler weighs only 9.2kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analyzes in the CAD system. With the help of integrated air baffles in the inlet, the charge air cooler is filled evenly. The connection diameters at the input and output have been increased to 70mm. Therefore, the kit includes two reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. So this kit is just right for racing. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1:1 exchange). Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
