This is a plug and play replacement of the standard part. The original turbo outlet was designed by the manufacturer in such a way that it reduces the turbocharger noise that occurs by means of a silencer. The resulting turbulence reduces the air mass flow rate at the turbocharger outlet (fresh air pressure side).
The design of the WagnerTuning Turbooutlets was designed with the help of CFD flow simulations for the best possible air mass throughput. The inner diameter has been increased from Ø40mm to Ø44mm. This corresponds to a cross-sectional enlargement of almost 22%. This results in a higher maximum power and improved response.
